To standardize the project appraisal process and define the evaluating indicators and criteria, the Seminar  APFNet has held on Project Appraisal Approach was held on June 16, 2010 inBeijing.Experts and scholars from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), The Nature Conservancy (TNC RAFT), World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), International Network for Bamboo and Rattan(INBAR), Forest Certification Accreditation Scheme (PEFC), and the Chinese Academy of Forestry, Chinese People's University were invited to attend the meeting. The experts shared their experiences on project appraisal approaches and the evaluation methodology at the meeting, giving valuable comments and  recommendations on how to improve the  Guidelines for Project Concept Note Appraisal developed by APFNet.
